Our Drop Rod Latch is welded to 1-3/8" pipe to create a heavy duty chain link door drop rod. It is typically used on commercial and industrial projects with heavy duty double drive doors only. The drop rod is used to hold a double drive chain link door in the closed position and can be used with our Chain Link Door Center Stop or you can drill a hole in the ground to secure the drop rod. It resists rust & corrosion and provides years of maintenance free performance.
