Nylon Material Analysis


Nylon (PA) is a synthetic polymer that is highly praised for its versatility in hardware applications. The PA66 nylon material used in this lock stands out for its high tensile strength (over 70MPa), ensuring its resistance to impact and deformation - which is essential for resisting livestock collisions in horse farms.


Its low coefficient of friction (0.3 - 0.4) makes it smooth and quiet, ideal for noise-sensitive areas such as swimming pools. Nylon also has excellent chemical resistance and is not affected by pool chemicals, farm fertilizers or animal manure, thereby reducing the risk of corrosion.
