They are designed for use with spring loaded gate closers or self-closing hinges, where the force of the gate closing pushes the wing of the butterfly latch up enough to slide into a fully closed position; the wing then falls back down, securing the gate in place. Butterfly latches are great if you have pets and you don't want to accidentally leave your gate open. They work both ways, which means you can easily open your gate from either side of the fence.

SKYSEN uses modified PVC vinyl composite materials, which introduce chlorine atoms (content ≥56%) into the molecular chain to form a natural flame retardant barrier (UL94 V-0 grade). By adding nano-scale titanium dioxide (TiO₂) particles, a UV reflection network is constructed inside the material, which improves the weather resistance by 8 times compared with ordinary PVC. The material formula is RoHS 2.0 certified, does not contain heavy metals and phthalates, and has no toxicity risk when in contact with animal fur. Rheological analysis shows that the melt flow index (MFI) is strictly controlled at 8g/10min±0.5, ensuring the directional arrangement of fibers during injection molding and achieving a longitudinal tensile strength of 42MPa (32MPa for ultra-pure PVC substrate).
