The spring-driven mechanism requires only 15N of operating force to achieve automatic latching, and the corrosion-resistant components pass 2000+ hours of salt spray testing (ISO 9227). Pre-installed stainless steel springs and nylon washers eliminate metal contact and prevent electrochemical corrosion. 36 months of monitoring on a farm on the coast of Cornwall, UK showed that metal connectors had zero corrosion in a high salt spray environment, and the life of galvanized steel locks was extended by 300%. Carbon steel is an iron-carbon alloy with a carbon content of 0.0218%~2.11%. It is based on iron, carbon is the main alloying element, and contains a small amount of impurities such as manganese, silicon, sulfur, and phosphorus.
